Terms of service

These terms apply when you use aicv.guru, run by the operator of aicv.guru (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

1. What we provide

aicv.guru uses artificial intelligence to analyse and rewrite CVs, estimate how well they would perform with applicant tracking systems, and produce downloadable documents. Features and limits for each plan are described on our pricing page.

2. AI output: please check it

AI can make mistakes. We design the service not to invent facts, but you are responsible for reviewing your CV and making sure everything in it is accurate and true before you use it. Replace any placeholders (shown like [X]) with real information or remove them. Scores are estimates, not a guarantee of interviews or employment.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of your CV and everything you upload. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to upload it, and that it doesn't contain anything unlawful. The improved text we generate for you is yours to use.

4. Fair use

Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping, attempts to get around limits (for example with multiple accounts), uploading malware, or using it to create fraudulent or misleading documents. “Unlimited” Pro features are subject to the fair-use limits shown on the pricing page. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

5. Accounts

Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

6. Pro subscriptions

• Pro is billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro continues until the end of the period you've paid for, and then won't renew.
• Your right to cancel (UK consumers): you normally have 14 days to cancel a new subscription. Because the service starts straight away, by subscribing you ask us to begin immediately and acknowledge that if you cancel within 14 days we may deduct an amount for the service already used. If you haven't used any Pro features, we'll refund you in full; just email us.
• We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Any VAT due is shown at checkout.

7. Availability

We aim to keep aicv.guru running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features over time.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £50 if greater).

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you we'll tell you in advance. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though if you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
